CrossRoads Worship
Want to help out at one of our CrossRoads services? Contact Andy David at Andy@fumc-rr.org to find out how!
IMPORTANT UPDATE: CrossRoads PM is taking a break for the summer months. The Sunday evening worship service will resume on August 24th. To find out more about CrossRoads PM, click here.
First Church has two worship opportunites which we call our CrossRoads Praise and Worship Services. All services at our church are focused on praise and worship, so what makes CrossRoads... well, Crossroads? For one thing, music is led by a worship band at these services. If you like the sound of electric guitars, drum sets and keyboards coming together to make a joyful noise, you may find one of our CrossRoads services to be your true congregational home.
That's not the only difference, though. When you come to experience a CrossRoads service, you'll notice first that we're located in a different building. The Family Life Center affords an opportunity for more multimedia in worship, as well as a uniquely close-knit atmosphere. The use of lighting, video, projected lyrics and candles are just a few of the ways that what you see in a CrossRoads service is unique. The service also lends itself to a different format, often involving less of the traditional elements of worship such as doxologies and creeds and more praise songs back to back.
Sounds interesting, doesn't it? We want to invite YOU to look farther into whether you might have a church home in one of these services by clicking on the links below to find out more about what makes CrossRoads AM different than CrossRoads PM.
You'll also find information about childcare for CrossRoads AM and about Afterglow, one of our ministry opportunites which follows CrossRoads PM.
