Youth Missions and Outreach
Early on the morning of Sunday, June 10, a hardy band of missionaries, High Schoolers and adults, set out from First United Methodist Church, Round Rock, headed for Juarez, Mexico to build houses for Casas por Cristo. The team consisted of: Samantha Atkins, Courtney Bouchard, Stephen Crossman, Tanner Dendy, Samantha Gosselin, Nick Kelley, Bryce Lancaster, Caitlin Prud’homme, Kirsti Reese, Davis Rybaski, Emma Staley, Morgan Weinfeld, Stefanie Wozniak, David Wyatt, Anthony Yelle, Joe Adams, Gregg Bouchard, Phil Dendy, Paul Kida, Aaron Lancaster, Tommy Prud’homme, Tina Riquelmy, Dan Rybaski, Jennifer Rybaski, Carl Schomburg, Myra Schomburg, Treasa Telle, and Kelly Voorhies (Kip Reuter missed the trip on account of “ankle issues”). The ensuing account was discovered among the ruins of unclaimed property following their return.
