Other Mission Opportunities

The youth at First United Methodist Church in Round Rock are involved in a variety of mission activities. We encourage all youth to find a way to help out in their family, community and world. So, we provide as many opportunities as possible for this outreach and are always looking for new ways to help out.

This year the youth in our program have been involved in an array of mission activities including:

Collecting monetary donations weekly in Sunday School and Wednesday Night Live for two children, named Baker and Elizabeth, in Uganda.

Volunteering and leading a Kids-Only Christmas Carnival so that parents have time to go Christmas shopping in December.

Donating and collecting goods/presents for a family in Round Rock for Christmas.

Painting homes in the Round Rock area on a retreat weekend this spring called "District YEAH."

Volunteering with the children at First Church for Resurrection Celebration and Vacation Bible School.
