Food, Fun, Friends...
An Evening Out for Single Parents

This is a new ministry at First Church which seeks to nurture and care for single parents. Parents are treated to dinner and a movie while kids enjoy supervised food and games in the Family Life Center.
Older kids (4 and up) are in the Family Life Center where they will enjoy pizza, games and supervised fun with volunteers and church staff. Younger children (infants - 3 years) will enjoy playing with volunteers and staff in Building 5, Room 145. Parents will enjoy a four-course sit-down dinner served while they mingle and make new friends in Building 5, Room 127. Then after dessert, the guests will go upstairs to the movie theatre for a showing of a light-hearted movie. Laugh, eat popcorn, and relax!
We are hoping to offer this ministry event on a quarterly basis. Our first event was held on June 13 and was a great success. That event was focused particularly on single moms. They had a great time as did the kids. We are excited to be able to expand this ministry to now include single dads!
