Men's Ministries at First Church...
Man Alive!
Man Alive! is a weekly men’s ministry for those men seeking what it means to truly succeed in life. This is not a Bible Study. It is not an accountability group. It is not a time for “mature” Christians to gather and share deep things of faith. Man Alive! is an opportunity for men to get together to focus on men’s issues of life in practical ways that appeal to men.Click here for details.
Journeymen
All men are welcome to join the Journeymen in fellowship and spiritual growth. We meet at 7:00 am the first and third Saturday each month in room 127 (the Community Room) in Building 5. To get details about the upcoming or current study, click here.
Join United Methodist Men!
The purpose of United Methodist Men is to declare the centrality of Christ in every man’s life, to promote the spiritual growth of men through effective discipleship, and to model the servant leadership of Christ in our daily lives. The United Methodist Men (UMM) offer two weekly meetings: breakfast at 6:00 am on Wednesdays and a group that meets at 7 pm on Thursdays. Check out the UMM section of the website to read more about all this group does.
Men's Retreats
The United Methodist Men typically offer a Men’s Retreat in the Spring. This is a fellowship retreat usually centered around fishing. Watch the worship bulletin, newsletter, and website for information or contact Chris Slahetka at chris@hillcountrydairies.com or 828-4924.
Sportsmen's Group
Do you enjoy watching or participating in sports related activities? Well, we have the group for you. The Sportsmen's Group provides periodic opportunities to enjoy fellowship with other men from First Church centered around some type of sporting activity. Read more about the group by clicking here.
