Does God Care About Good Marriages? You Bet!
That’s why the General Board of Discipleship of the United Methodist (UM) Church recognizes the ministries of both Engaged Encounter (EE) and Marriage Encounter (ME). If you are, or know someone who is, planning to wed; EE is an experience designed to prepare couples for marriage.
Engaged Encounter
Newly married couples are also encouraged to participate in EE. An EEUM Experience is scheduled for November 21-22, 2008 in Austin and the following dates and locations in 2009. For more information check out the website and toll free number listed below.

Marriage Encounter
For married couples, it’s not too early to sign up for the next MEUM Austin Weekend (will be at the Wingate Inn, ROUND ROCK), October 3-5, 2008. The MEUM Weekend registration fee is only $50.00 per couple! If you’re unable to attend that one, you may want to consider October 24-26, 2008 in Dallas, November 7-9, 2008 in Houston, or one of the 2009 Weekends. Those dates are as follows:
