...a spiritual formation study utilizing spiritual disciplines of Scripture study,
prayer and meditation in a small group format enabling the participant to be more fully open to a relationship with God.

As United Methodists we understand life to be a journey of spiritual growth toward perfection. We recognize that God has called us into a personal relationship and through it we will grow more and more like our Lord and Savior, Jesus. But finding ways to be open to and in a relationship with God can be difficult in this busy world.

This small group study is a journey to a deeper relationship with Christ through the studying of scripture as a spiritual discipline and the exploration of your relationship with God through your senses and your creativity.

The Companions in Christ study involves a 2 to 2 1/2 hour weekly class and a short daily study commitment that is well worth your time. Come and join the journey.

Companions in Christ is available as both a long-term (28 weeks) study and as a series of short studies based on the individual components of the long-term study.

The 28-week study was offered during 2007-2008. We hope to offer some short term classes over the course of 2008-2009. Check back at this web page for updates.
