Join Us to Hear from Missionary Chris McLain

THE DINNER WITH CHRIS series continues with a Soup and Bread luncheon/reception featuring our very own Chris McLain, missionary to Swaziland, Africa on Sunday, January 13, 2008 at 12:15 pm in the Family Life Center.

Chris is currently in Round Rock for a short visit and will be returning to Swaziland on January 15, 2008. This reception will be a great send off for her and it will be a wonderful opportunity to hear stories of the children and schools she has been working with in Manzini, Swaziland, Africa. And since a picture is worth a thousand words, Chris will share an insightful slide show highlighting some of her adventures and ministry since arriving in Swaziland in August, 2007.
A delicious soup luncheon will be provided by the United Methodist Women of First Church. Please come with open hearts and open minds for an experience of a lifetime: to hear first hand what life is like as a missionary in Swaziland.

Your whole family is invited to this great fellowship and learning opportunity. Reservations are not required but are helpful so please email Karah Ricketts at krosyrup@austin.rr.com with the number of persons attending. There is no charge for the luncheon. We will take a love offering for continued support of this mission program.
