Men's Retreat - April 11 - 13

The United Methodist Men’s group is sponsoring a Men’s Retreat at Lake Buchanan Lodge April 11, 12, 13. All men in First Church are invited to come for a weekend of relaxation and fellowship. Activities include dominos, fishing, washers, and tall tale telling. Costs are $20/night for lodging and $20 for meals at the Lodge. Those 16 and under are free and welcome.

Friday night we’ll eat out at Big John’s (great mesquite grilled steaks) at 7pm and each pays his own costs there. Saturday menus: Breakfast tacos and fruit, sandwiches for lunch, and fish fry supper. Sunday: Breakfast tacos and fruit and sandwiches for lunch.

Beds are limited to about 30, but there is plenty of room for cots and bedrolls, so sign up early or bring your own bed. Some lodging is also available Thursday night so some can go up early and catch the fish for Saturday evening meal.
