Angels Among Us - Quilters and Crafters Fundraisers
10/28/2007Angels Among Us is the theme for fundraisers for First Church Crafters and Heart to Heart Quilters. The sale will be Sundays, November 4th & 11th near Payne Cottage from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm. First Church Pianist Releases New CD
10/28/2007The latest CD from our pianist, Dr. Saida Kafarova, received a splendid review in America’s Number One Recording Magazine “Fanfare.” The CD was released on Centaur in February 2007 and contains works for two pianos by Nikolai Medtner. Medtner was known as a Christian believer who established strong connections with God through his music. Click more... more

Trunk or Treat - What is It and How Can You Help?
10/04/2007The First Church Youth is hosting the first TRUNK OR TREAT Festival on October 31st from 7 to 8:00pm, followed by contemporary worship (for goblins and all). To provide children from the church and community a safe place to go "trick or treating" this year, the youth will be decorating trunks and trunk beds in the church parking lot and filling them with treats for children to pass by and "trick or treat".
