Chicken and Cobbler Sunday - June 3rd

The United Methodist Men at First Church raise money through various projects including our famous Chicken Sundays, where we roast divinely inspired chickens over an open pit. These chickens, following a short stay at Seminary Farms, have been called to service for the Lord. We prepare them so you may offer them at your own lunch time service. They are accompanied by the best unleavened Peach Cobbler on God's Green Earth. Our next chicken service is on June 3rd. Money raised from Chicken Sunday and our other projects fund the following:

• The Youth here at First Church
• The First Church Pastor's Fund which provides assistance to those in need in our community
• Various United Methodist Charities and Projects
• The Serving Center here in Round Rock
• Mission Work in South Africa
• We are always on call to help fund or carryout improvements around the Church such as painting, Christmas Lights, tree trimming, etc.

So let us help you with Sunday dinner. Chickens are $8.00 and Cobblers are $6.00 and will be available between services on Sunday.
