Our Community Needs Your Help!
Due to an overwhelming need in our community, the Round Rock Area Serving Center and other assistance agencies are currently out of funds and low on supplies. First Church partners with the Round Rock Area Serving Center to provide assistance to those in need in our communtiy. Your help is desperately needed! Specific needs include:
- Toilet paper
- Diapers - all sizes, including adult
- Soap and shampoo
- Macaroni and pastas
- Canned fruits and vegetables
- Spaghetti sauce
- Cereal
- Juice
- Rice
- Beans
- Soup
In addition to providing food, the Serving Center now offers clothing vouchers and low cost household goods and furnishings. Your donation of gently used items is greatly appreciated.
Volunteers are needed!
Working at the Serving Center is an excellent way to earn community service hours for Honor Society and other organizational members. Volunteering is a great way to get out and meet other involved, caring people. Your time and service is a special gift you can share with others. Go by and visit the new Round Rock Area Serving Center and sign up to help at 1099 East Main Street, or call 244-2431.
